A Message from the Founder of ALYS

Canadian youth are the most connected individuals on the planet, yet Aboriginal youth still do not have a voice in Canadian politics and for far too long Aboriginal issues have been left on the back burner. It is time Aboriginal youth seize the opportunity that is in front of us now and change this reality.

My name is Kevin Seesequasis and I’m the founder of Aboriginal Liberal Youth of Saskatchewan.

ALYS firmly believes that the Liberal Party of Canada has taken positive steps in the right direction. With a proud history of policies such as the Kelowna Accord, the Indian Residential Schools Apology, and others, Liberals are demonstrating their commitment to further enhancing the quality of life for Aboriginal peoples in Canada now, and in our future.

We hope that you will take the time to learn more about ALYS and interact with us socially on Facebook and Twitter. We hope that you will work with us to engage your moms and dads, brothers and sisters, kookums and mooshums, cousins and other friends and family members and help us rebuild the Liberal Party of Canada for a new chapter in Canadian politics.
